Dan Edwardes is the Founder and CEO of Parkour Generations, A founding member of a national governing body called Parkour UK, creator of the global A.D.A.P.T qualification program, an author, presenter, he had choreographed and performed for movies and other forms of media and been awarded honors such as the Canary Wharf Business Innovation Award.

Dan is the Founder and CEO of Parkour Generations - the award-winning multi-national professional organization for the dynamic movement discipline of parkour/freerunning - and a founding member of Parkour UK - the world's first National Governing Body for the activity, and the first country to recognize parkour as a sport).  He is the creator of the global A.D.A.P.T qualification program, the international standard for coaching parkour/freerunning, as well as the ground-breaking Parkour Programs for health clubs, the Parkour Fitness Specialist certification program for fitness professionals and the Parkour For Schools Programme delivering parkour into schools worldwide. His education programs are accredited by multiple awarding bodies including NASM, ACE, AFAA, 1st4Sports, UISP, and YMCA Awards.

Dan has been featured across major publications, channels and podcasts such as Men's Fitness, The Times, The Guardian - just to name a few, and he has presented at leading industry events such as IDEA World, IHRSA and many others around the world.  He has appeared in numerous high-profile media projects as a parkour performer and choreographer for movies, TV commercials, live shows, and public displays and has also produced a considerable body of literature on parkour which has been translated into several languages and published across various media, including three books and been awarded honors such as the Canary Wharf Business Innovation Award.


In this episode, we talked about how learning is a skillset in itself, the parallels of marketing and movement practice, the mindset of adaptability and mastery, influencing intuition and attachments, understanding risk and danger understanding between kids and adults, and a lot revolved around the fitness of thinking.
